Matriva Launches Automated Compliance Tracking for Gas Safety, EPC and Electrical Certificates
New compliance dashboard monitors certificate expiry dates across a landlord's entire portfolio and sends automated reminders before deadlines
"One missed certificate can cost a landlord thousands. Automated tracking means no deadline slips through the cracks."

Matriva has launched an automated compliance tracking dashboard that monitors gas safety certificates, EPC ratings and Electrical Installation Condition Reports (EICRs) across a landlord's entire portfolio, with automated reminders sent before each certificate expires.
The compliance dashboard provides a single view of every property's compliance status, colour-coded by urgency. Landlords can see at a glance which certificates are current, which are expiring soon, and which have already lapsed, along with the specific deadline dates.
"Missing a gas safety certificate expiry isn't just a compliance failure, it's a criminal offence. Yet most landlords track these dates on a spreadsheet, if at all," said Mike Georgeson. "Our compliance dashboard makes it impossible to miss a deadline."
Key features include:
- Portfolio-wide compliance overview with expiry countdown for each certificate
- Automated email and WhatsApp reminders at 30 days, 14 days and 7 days before expiry
- Document storage for each certificate, with the expiry date extracted automatically
- Compliance job creation, allowing landlords to book a tradesperson directly through the platform
- Tenant acknowledgement tracking for the How to Rent guide and prescribed information
The compliance tracking is included with all Matriva landlord subscriptions at no additional cost, and works alongside the platform's existing tradesperson marketplace for booking gas safety engineers, electricians and EPC assessors.
