Government Mandates Launch Date for England's Short-Term Lets Registration Scheme

Ministers have confirmed a target date of March 2027 to implement a mandatory national registration system for short-term holiday lets throughout England. The timetable provides property owners with a definitive planning window while central government continues working through technical implementation rules and local oversight structures.
